02.06.2025 - 40 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Sivagangai District, Thirupathur block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Export of Agriculture Goods" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC). 06.06.2025 - ABIS -TBI, TNAU, RKVY RAFTAAR R ABI Centre - RKVY grant disbursement event.
The GoI-MoA & FW-RKVY RAFTAAR R ABI grant disbursement function was held at ABIS-TBI-RABI Centre, TNAU, Coimbatore.
Dr.R.Thamizh Vendan, Registrar & Acting Vice-Chancellor, TNAU presided over the function and distributed the grant amount of Rs.35.00 lakhs for 10 SAIP Cohort III Grantees as third instalment, Rs. 17.80 lakhs for 11 AOP Cohort IV Grantees as second instalment and Rs. 35.40 lakhs for 13 AOP Cohort V Grantees as first instalment. In total, Rs. 88.20 lakhs were given to 34 grantees of SAIP cohort III and AOP cohort IV & V.

11.06.2025 - 13.06.2025 - Department of Agriculture Farmers Welfare, Govt. of Tamil Nadu has organized an "Mega Agriculture Exhibition & Seminar" at Near Vijayamangalam Toll Gate, Perundurai, Erode.
Thiru. M.K Stalin, Hon.Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the programme and interacted with Government Officials, Tamil Nadu University Officers and Startups in CM Pavilion.
Officials from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Govt. Dept.of Agriculture, Lead District Manager, DDM-NABARD participated in technical seminars to Startups, Farmers, FPO's/FPC'S and General public.
One of our TBI Incubatee M/s.DIGIIT Business Services Pvt. Ltd., showcased his product in CM Pavilion.
As part of the event, 10 Start-ups of ABIS-TBI actively participated and showcased their products under food processing, agricultural engineering, wealth from waste and AI & IoT applications.
This event provided an opportunity for TBI Start-Ups to interact with Farmers, FPO's, FPC's and Startups.


16.06.2025 - As part of the Training on "Export of Agricultural Commodities" conducted by the Department of Agricultural Economics, TNAU, Coimbatore, 35 trainees from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Ariyalur District, Jayankondam Block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training trainees visited TBI-TIPPC, TNAU, Coimbatore.
Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO ABIS, TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore briefed the "Importance of Packaging & quality Standard for Domestic & Export Markets" and TBI programmes offered facilities available to Farmers and startups.
The trainees visited TBI facilities as well as TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC), where they explored various startup products.

17.06.2025 - 40 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Sivagangai District, Sivagangai block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Integrated Pest Management Techniques in Pulses" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC) on 02.06.2025. They were exposed to various startup products.

18.06.2025 - 40 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Erode District, Modakurichi block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Sub Surface type of irrigation & their benefits" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC). They were exposed to various startup products.

19.06.2025-The RKVY RAFTAAR R ABI AOP & SOP Cohort VII First RIC Screening meeting was held in hybrid mode at TBI, DABD, TNAU for FY.2025-26.
About 26 applicants in AOP & 13 applicants in SOP pitched their idea to the RIC.


19.06.2025 - As part of the Training on "Value addition of Moringa" conducted by the Department of Centre for Post harvest Technology, TNAU, Coimbatore, 35 trainees visited the TBI-TIPPC, TNAU, Coimbatore.

19.06.2025 - 11 no.s of IInd year M.Sc (Vegetable Science) PG Students from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore visited ABIS-TBI, DABD,TNAU, Coimbatore.

20.06.2025 - The Spices Board, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, conducted a Sensitization Programme on Organic Farming and 8th Edition of the National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP), with special focus on spices, at TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore.
Mrs. P. Hemalatha I.A.S., Secretary, Spices Board, Cochin, Kerala inaugurated the programme.
During the programme, Dr. E. Somasundaram, Director (ABD), TNAU, Coimbatore and Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore briefed the current progress and potential advancements of Spices Incubation Centre including the services offered and programmes operated at ABIS-TBI.

20.06.2025 - Department of Agricultural Entomology under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore combined with Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) and Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad (SCSP-Programme) was organized a "Skill Training on Biocontrol Agent Production" at Dept. of Agrl.Entomology, TNAU, Coimbatore on 16.06.2025 to 20.06.2025.
During this event, Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore briefed the TBI programmes offered, facilities available to Farmers, FPO's/FPC and Start-ups.

23.06.2025 - 50 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Krishnagiri District, Uthangarai block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Export of Agricultural Goods" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC). They were exposed to various startup products.

24.06.2025 - 50 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Namakkal District, Mallasamudram block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Drip Irrigation and maintenance in Horticultural Crops" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC). They were exposed to various startup products.

During the visit, he met Mr. Ravinder Gaur, Scientist 'E, Programme Officer (NIDHI Accelerator, Training Programs, New Gen IEDC) Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, New Delhi.

25.06.2025 - Sri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore visited to the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Technology Bhavan, New Delhi.
During the visit, he briefed the activities of ABIS-TBI, NIDHI EIR and NIDHI PRAYAS Programme to Mr.S.Pramod Shankar, Scientist-D, Program Officer (NIDHI PRAYAS & NIDHI-EIR Programme), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology, New Delhi.

25.06.2025 - Sri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore visited to the Start-up India Seed Fund Section (SISFS), New Delhi.
During the visit, he briefed the current status of Start-up India Seed Fund Scheme Programme to Mr.Shoumyadeep Dhani, Associate, Start-up India, New Delhi.

26.06.2025 - Sri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore and 6 RKVY Grantees from ABIS-TBI, RKVY Center visited the GoI-Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, RKVY Division at KRISHI Bhavan, New Delhi for "Progress of ABIS-TBI-RKVY R ABI Centre" held under the chairmanship of Adviser (RKVY), KRISHI Bhavan, New Delhi.
During the visit, Sri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore presented about the ABIS-TBI programmes and facilities and pending Grants to be released to RKVY, R ABI Centre to Shri.Arindam Modak, Adviser (RKVY) and Shri.Manoj Kumar, Director (RKVY) at GoI- MoA& FW, New Delhi.
