04.11.2025 - ABIS-Technology Business Incubator is the Knowledge Partner of the TN-EDII-IVP Programme.

One of the TBI incubatee, Mr.Santhosh.N of M/s. Coco Science working on the project titled "Coir Pith Drying Machine" was sanctioned with the TN-EDII-IVP -Voucher A- Third Installment Grant amount of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty thousand only).

The Grant Disbursement was carried out by Dr.E.Somasundaram, Director (ABD), & Secretary ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore and A.V. Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI to Mr.Santhosh.N of M/s. Coco Science at ABIS-TBI,TNAU,Coimbatore.

04.11.2025 - 50 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Virudhunagar District, Arupukottai block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Post Harvest & Value Addition Technologies in Agri Crops" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC). They were exposed to various startup products.

04.11.2025 - 50 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Nagapattinam District, Thirumarugal block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Agri Marketing Agri Export Promotion, Export opportunities, Procedures, Protocols & PhytoSanitary Requirements" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC). They were exposed to various startup products.

06.11.2025 - The Institution of Engineers (India), Coimbatore Local centre in association with Dept.of Food Technology and Dept.of Mechanical Engineering SNS College of Technology conducted a seminar held at SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore. 

During this event, a Guest Lecture was delivered by the Sri. A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore on the theme "Farm to Market Supply Chain Integration Technologies Role" to faculty and students of SNS College, Coimbatore. 

12.11.2025 - The Dept.of Soil and Water conservation Engineering, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore is conducting the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation in the theme of "Green House Operator". In this continuation, 25 no.of trainees partcipated visited ABIS-TBI,TNAU,Coimbatore.

During this physical meeting, Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO ABIS,TBI,TNAU,Coimbatore briefed the TBI programmes offered, facilities available to the trainees.

The trainees were exposed to various startup products. 

14.11.2025 - "ABIS-TBI,TNAU, Coimbatore, GoI-MoA & FW, RKVY-RAFTAAR-R ABI Centre - grant disbursement event"

Prof.Dr.R.Thamizh Vendan, respected Acting Vice-Chancellor, TNAU presided over the function and distributed the grant. 

A grant amount of Rs.40.80 lakhs for 10 SAIP Cohort IV Grantees were disbursed as third instalment and Rs. 23.60 lakhs for 13 AOP Cohort V Grantees were disbursed as second instalment. 

In total, Rs 64.40 lakhs were given to 23 grantees of RKVY SAIP cohort IV and RKVY AOP Cohort V.

14.11.2025 - ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore is a programme Partner for "Coimbatore Vizha"

As part of this initiative, "Coimbatore Vizha" team organized "Coimbatore Science and Tech Fest 2.0" at Hall D, CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore from November 14-16, 2025.

As part of the event, 5 no.of TBI Start-ups had put up their stalls for showcasing their products in "Coimbatore Science and Tech Fest 2.0".

Sri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU visited the stalls of TBI Incuabtees and interacted with them. This event provided an opportunity for TBI Start-Ups to interact with Students, Startups and the General Public.

15.11.2025 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore had a meeting with Mrs.M.Tamilselvi, Joint Director of Agriculture, Coimbatore and greeted the JDA.

17.11.2025 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI,TNAU,Coimbatore visited the facility of Dr.D.Rajkumar of M/s.DRK Smart Bio Solutions, TBI member and NIDHI-PRAYASEE (Fund Cycle 2022-2023) to monitor the work progress pertaining to the NIDHI-PRAYAS grant disbursed.

18.11.2025 - The Second physical meeting of the ABIS-Prayas Monitoring Committee (APMC) for the NIDHI-PRAYASEES Fund cycle (2024-2025) was conducted at ABIS-TBI,NIDHI-PRAYAS CENTRE, TNAU, COIMBATORE to assess the work progress related to the utilization of the first installment of the Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Only) each, for prototype development grant. 

All Seven Nidhi-Prayaees from Fund Cycle (2024-2025) presented in person their work progress related to the first instalment of grant to the committee.

18.11.2025 - ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore is a "Spices Incubation Centre" under the ASPIRE Scheme funded by the Spices Board of India. An Incubation Appraisal Committee (IAC) meeting in virtual mode was held to evaluate the Expressions of Interest submitted by startups seeking incubation at the Spice Incubation Centre, CSIR–CFTRI Mysore.

Shri. A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director and CEO, ABIS–TBI, participated and screened the applicants as the Managing Director and CEO is a member of the Incubation Appraisal Committee (IAC) constituted by the Spices Board under the ASPIRE Scheme. 

7 applicants presented their ideas and interacted with the Committee during the session. The proposals were reviewed as per the ASPIRE guidelines and suitable applicants were shortlisted for the next level of assessment. 

18.11.2025 - The Department of Agricultural Microbiology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore is conducting the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation in the theme of "Microbial Product Developer".

25 no.of trainees from the Skill Development programme had visited ABIS-TBI,TNAU,Coimbatore.

20.11.2025 - 25 no.s Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) students from the Firebird Institute of Research in Management, Coimbatore visited ABIS-TBI, DABD,TNAU, Coimbatore.

20.11.2025 - "The South India Natural Farming Summit 2025" was conducted from 19th to 21st of November 2025 at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore. 

The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri.Narendra Modi, inaugurated the South India Natural Farming Summit on 19th November 2025 at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore.

As part of the summit, Technical Sessions and Panel Discussions were held on 20 November 2025. 

Dr.E.Somasundaram, Director, Agri Business Development, TNAU, served as the Chairperson of the Panel Discussion themed “Youth, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Natural Farming.”

Mr. A. V. Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI, participated as the Co-Chair and a panel speaker in the session and delivered his address on the topic “Financing Opportunities for Organic Entrepreneurs.”

Farmers, startups and the General public participated during the panel discussion. 

24.11.2025 - The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Cheif Genral Manger (CGM) Tamil Nadu, Telangana state along with District Development Managers (DDM) from Telangana state (25 Nos.) visited ABIS-TBI, DABD, TNAU, Coimbatore.

24.11.2025 - The Directorate of Centre for Plant Protection Studies, Dept.of Plant Pathology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore is conducting  the training programme in Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation under the theme of "Mushroom Grower" (small unit). 25 no.of trainees from the training programme had visited ABIS-TBI,DABD,TNAU,Coimbatore.

26.11.2025 -  The Agricultural Engineering College & Research Institute, Dept.of Post Harvest Technology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University,Coimbatore is conducting  the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation in the theme of "Preservation & Value addition of Fruits and Vegetables". 25no.of trainees from this skill development programme visited ABIS-TBI,DABD,TNAU,Coimbatore.

27.11.2025 - Mr.M.Swaminathan, Chapter - Head, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIFO), Coimbatore visited the Directorate of Agribusiness Development and ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore.

27.11.2025 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore visited the facility of TBI member and RKVY RAFTAR- R ABI grantee Mrs.I.Shifanath of M/s.R-Three Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., to monitor the work progress pertaining to the RKVY RAFTAAR-R ABI grant disbursed.

27.11.2025 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore visited the facility of TBI member and RKVY RAFTAR- R ABI grantee Mr.N.Balamanickam of M/s. Awa Foods Pvt Ltd to monitor the work progress pertaining to the RKVY RAFTAAR-R ABI grant disbursed.

28.11.2025 - The EDII–Trichy Agribusiness Incubation Forum (TABIF) organized a "FoSTaC" (Food Safety Training and Certification) training programme at the New Training Hall, DABD, TNAU, Coimbatore.  

The training programme was inaugurated by Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore.

During his inaugural address he congratulated the participants for taking part in the programme and highlighted the growing significance of food safety compliance in the agribusiness and food processing sectors.
