08.10.2025 - 40 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Salem District, Thalaivasal block under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Digital Marketing Strategies for connecting Buyers and Sellers" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC). They were exposed to various startup products.

09.10.2025 - 10.10.2025 - Tamil Nadu Global Start-up summit (TNGSS) 2025 was organized by Startup-TN, held at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex ,Coimbatore.

The event was inaugurated by Thiru.M.K.Stalin, Hon.Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

During the panel discussion in Theme of “Smart Farming powered by AI & IoT: A Pathway to Sustainable Agriculture” . Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore was the moderator for the panel discussion.

Four TBI Start-ups were participated and they shared experience of entrepreneur journey at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex ,Coimbatore.

10.10.2025 - Mr.S.Shrinivasan of M/s. HARVTECH LLP, working on the project titled “IoT Powered Autonomous Electrical Tractor”, was sanctioned for the EDII-TN Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP) – Voucher B with a grant of Rs.5,00,000/-.  

As ABIS–Technology Business Incubator is the Knowledge Partner for the EDII-TN Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP), Dr. E. Somasundaram, Director (ABD), TNAU, Coimbatore and Mr.A.V. Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI handed over the cheque for the second instalment of the grant amount of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand Rupees Only).

14.10.2025 - ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering (CIAR), Regional Station, Coimbatore is conducting "Skill Development Training for Tribal Youth"  under the theme of "Repair and Maintenance of farm Machinery".

16.10.2025 - ABIS–TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore conducted a One-Day Physical Event on "World Food Day 2025" at the TBI-Incubatee Product Promotional Center, TNAU, Coimbatore.

The event was inaugurated by Dr.E.Somasundaram, Director, ABD, TNAU, Coimbatore and was organized by Sri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD&CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore. 

During the event, 10 TBI startups actively participated and showcased their innovative products. The startups also interacted with the faculty and students, providing brief insights into their products and technologies.

16.10.2025 - Sixty-three third-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture students, along with a faculty member from the Department of Agronomy, TNAU, Coimbatore, visited ABIS–TBI, DABD, TNAU, Coimbatore as part of their academic exposure visit.

23.10.2025 - The Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business, Coimbatore, in coordination with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), organized a One-Day Regional Workshop on “Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) and Crop Insurance Scheme (PMFBY)” at Farmers Residency, TNAU, Coimbatore. The workshop witnessed the active participation of around 80 farmers.

During the physical session, Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS–TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore, delivered a session on the various TBI programmes and facilities available for Farmers, FPOs/FPCs, and Start-ups.

24.10.2025 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS–TBI, SISFS Centre, TNAU, Coimbatore, conducted an online screening (Batch 49) for applicants, applied under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS).

A total of 40 applicants participated in the session and pitched their innovative ideas across various sectors.

25.10.2025 - The First RIC (Regional Incubation Committee) meeting for the RKVY–RAFTAAR–R-ABI Startup Agribusiness Incubation Programme (SAIP), Cohort VII, for the financial year 2025–2026, was conducted in hybrid mode.

A total of 20 applicants presented their business ideas and innovations before the RIC panel during the session.

28.10.2025 - "The 53rd Annual Session and Meetings of the International Pepper Community (IPC) held at Hotel Le Meridien, Kochi".

29.10.2025 - 71 no.s of IIIrd year Students from B.Tech, (Food Technology)  along with two Faculties from the Dept.of Agricultural and Rural Management, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University,  Coimbatore visited ABIS-TBI, DABD,TNAU, Coimbatore.

30.10.2025 -Forest College &  Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore is conducting the Skill Development Training for "Rural and Farm Women" under the theme of "Production of Mulberry Fruit Based Nutraceutical Products".

As part of the programme, 25 trainees visited ABIS–TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore, to gain exposure to the incubation facilities and entrepreneurial support activities.

During this physical meeting, Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO ABIS,TBI,TNAU,Coimbatore briefed the TBI programmes offered, facilities available to Start-ups.

31.10.2025 - Shri.SNA Jinnah, Former, Chief General Manager, NABARD, Chennai RO, visited ABIS-TBI, DABD,TNAU,Coimbatore.
