06.08.2026 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore, is a Course Teacher for ARM 121 – Entrepreneurial Skills for Agribusiness (0+2).

As part of the course, 100 first-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, Horticulture and Agribusiness Management (ABM) students from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore attended the class in ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore.

Four of our TBI start-ups handled individual sessions and shared their Start-Up journey with the students.

Also, an interactive session with Start-Ups on "Packaging and Branding" was conducted to provide practical insights into product development, market positioning and value addition.

11.08.2026 - 12 first-year M.Sc. (Horticulture) students from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, currently pursuing the course PHM 510 – Marketing & Entrepreneurship Management (1+1), visited ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore as part of their academic learning.

12.08.2026 - 18 first year M.Sc., (Agrl.Exten) students & 5 first year Ph.D Scholars (Agrl.Extension) from Annamalai University, Chidambaram visited ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore

19.08.2026 - Sri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI,TNAU, Coimbatore visited the facility of Dr.E.Sree Gayathri of M/s. Aara Naturals, Coimbatore, TBI member and PM- RKVY- RAFTAR- R ABI Grantee to monitor the work progress pertaining to the  RKVY RAFTAR-R ABI Grant disbursed.

20.08.2026 - Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore is an institutional member in ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore.

50 first year & third year B.Sc., (Bio-Technology) & B.Sc., (Chemistry) students & 2 No.s of faculty from Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore visited ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore.

21.08.2026 - 30 farmers from the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business Department, Puducherry, Union Territory under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reform (ATMA) Scheme (SSEPERS) - State Level Farmers Training on "Integrated Training on Natural /Organic Farming, Value Addition & Digital Agriculture" visited TBI Incubatee Product Promotion Centre (TIPPC).

22.08.2026 - 17 trainees, accompanied by one faculty member from PSG College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore, visited ABIS–TBI, DABD, TNAU, Coimbatore, as part of the “Special Certificate in Herbal Technology” course.

24.08.2026 - 48 no.s of 3 rd year B.S.c., (Bio-Technology) & M.Sc.,1st year & 2 nd year (Bio-Chemistry) students & 2 Nos.of Faculty from Kongunadu Arts & Science College, Coimbatore visited ABIS-TBI, DABD,TNAU, Coimbatore.

28.08.2026 - Mr.Balaaji Matheswaran of  M/s. Vrintha Grains Tech Pvt Ltd.,Coimbatore has licensed the TNAU Technology for removal of Insects & Insect Eggs in Stored grains. Also,Mr.Balaaji Matheswaran  is an ABIS-TBI incubatee.

manufacturing facility of M/s.Vrintha Grains Tech Pvt Ltd., Coimbatore to understand the various processes followed in the "Manufacturing of machine to remove insects and eggs from grains".

28.08.2026 - Sri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, MD & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore visited the facility of Dr.V.Anusheela of M/s.Herbomill Nutrolites, Coimbatore, TBI member and PM-RKVY-RAFTAAR-R ABI SAIP Cohort VI grantee to monitor the work progress pertaining to the RKVY-RAFTAAR grant disbursed.

29.08.2026 - Tea Board India, South Zonal Office, Coonoor, organized a “Tea Experience Event” at Brookefields Mall, Coimbatore, from 29.08.2026 to 30.08.2026, with the objective of promoting awareness and appreciation of tea, showcasing the diversity of tea products and strengthening linkages among tea growers, entreprenurs, startups and industry stakeholders.

Sri. A.V. Gnanasambandam, Managing Director & CEO, ABIS–TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore, was invited as a Special Guest for the inaugural ceremony of the event.

The event was graced by Dr. R. Uma Maheswari, Tea Board of India, Coonoor, Mr. Dipak Shah, Chairman, The South India Tea Exporters Association, Coimbatore, Mr. A. Noor Mohamed, Managing Director, Paramount Tea Marketing (SI) Pvt. Ltd., Mr. N. Balasubramaniam, AGM–Sales, Woodbriar, Coimbatore and along with other dignitaries, entrepreneurs, startups and industry stakeholders.

The event provided a valuable platform for promoting the tea sector, fostering industry interactions and highlighting opportunities for innovation, entreprenurship and vale addition in the tea industry.

31.08.2026 - 51 students from 1st & 2nd year B.Sc (Bio-Science) & B.Com (Commerce) & 2 faculty from Sr Krishna Arts and Science college, Coimbatore visited ABIS-TBI, TNAU. Coimbatore.
