01.03.2024 - 03.03.2024 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Executive Director & CEO, ABIS, TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore was part of the DABD team under the Chairmanship of the Director,ABD,TNAU,Coimbatore inspected for conducting the survey on the coconut plantations affected by Kerala wilt disease at Thensithur village, Anamalai Block, Pollachi, Coimbatore District. During the visit the ED & CEO had visited 40 farmers coconut plantations, enumerated the affected trees and assessed the damage.

05.03.2024 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, ED&CEO,ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore was invited as a judge for Annual National Level Meet "Prabandhaz '24" for business plan event conduted by Agricultural and Rural Management (ARM) held at ODL Lecture hall 1,TNAU,Coimbatore.

05.03.2024 - Mr.Sivarajah Ramanathan - Mission Director & CEO, Startup TN, visited ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore. During the visit Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, ED&CEO,ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore interacted and explained about ABIS-TBI programmes operated, activities done and facilities under the incubation. Also he interacted with TN TANSIM TANSEED beneficiaries, NIDHI EIR Fellows under Round 5 and also with few of our Startups.

05.03.2024 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, ED & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore had delivered a session to Start-ups during the inauguration of "AGRI and FOOD TECH FORUM" organized by STARTUP TN and Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology, TNAU,Coimbatore held at Seminar Hall 1, RI Building, TNAU, Coimbatore.

06.03.2024 - Online screening for SISFS programme - 28th Batch was screened by Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, ED & CEO, ABIS-TBI, SISFS Centre, Coimbatore. 25 applicants presented their ideas during the screening.

07.03.2024 - Session offered by Mr.A.V.Gnansambandam, ED&CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore in the programme of PKVY - PARAMPARAGAT KRISHI VIKAS YOJANA - Traditional Agriculture Development Scheme, organized by State Agriculture department of Tamil Nadu at Ambika mahal, Coimbatore.

08.03.2024 - Mr.A.V.Gnansambandam, ED&CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore was invited for the International Women's Day Celebrations 2024 on the theme "Count her in: Accelerating Gender Equality through Economic Empowerment" and the launch of the Skill Satellite Centre funded by DSIR, held at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore. He also presented a session on "Technology and Skills for Women" to the participants.

12.03.2024 - Mr.Balaguru Damodaran, Asst Director, Ministry of Micro Small Medium Enterprise, Coimbatore visited ABIS-TBI,TNAU and invited Mr.A.V.Gnansambandam, ED&CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU,Coimbatore to participate in National IP Yatra 2024.

14.03.2024 - We are happy to share that an MoU was signed between TNAU and SPICES BOARD INDIA on to establish an "Spices Incubation Center" at ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore to nuture Spices based Startups/Exporters/Entrepreneurs and FPO's.

15.03.2024 - Mr. A.V.Gnanasambandam, Executive Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore participated in the NATIONAL IP-YATRA 2024 (Two Days Awareness Programme on Intellectual Property Rights), organized by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, New Delhi held at Welcome hotel By ITC Hotels, Race Course, Coimbatore.

During the event Mr. A.V.Gnanasambandam, Executive Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore briefed on TBI, TNAU activities, various Government schemes available for Start-ups and students.

15.03.2024 - Ms.Kopal Chaube, Senior Research Program Officer and Scientists from Western Sydney University, Australia visited ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore.

During the visit Dr.E.Somasundaram, Director (ABD), TNAU, Coimbatore and Mr.A.V.Gnansambandam, ED&CEO,ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore explained the ABIS-TBI programmes operated, activities done and the Incubation facilities.

18.03.2024 - The Second ISMC Committee meeting for SISFS Grantees by the Incubator Seed Management Committee (ISMC) for evaluating the work completion on their Ist instalment disbursed was conducted by ABIS-TBI-SISFS Centre, TNAU, Coimbatore.

The Grantees presented their work done and their milestones achieved to the committee. The recommendations, valuable inputs and suggestions given by the ISMC to the grantees.

19.03.2024 - Mr.A.V.Gnanasambandam, ED&CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore handled a session on "Entrepreneurship Programs and Start-up Initiatives in TNAU'', during the workshop on "Advancing Academic,Research and Administrative Excellence: Orientation workshop for Faculty on Deputation from Annamalai University to TNAU" at Seminar Hall, Department of Agricultural Entomology, TNAU, Coimbatore.
