26.07.2017 - We are proud to inform that NABARD has sanctioned the "NABARD Agri Business Incubation Centre" (NABIC) in TNAU- Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai at a budget of Rs.12.24 Crores. The proposal was submitted by DABD, TNAU, Coimbatore to NABARD, Chennai Region. based on the performance of the TBI functioning in the Directorate of Agribusiness Development, TNAU, Coimbatore. The project sanction was given by the Hon. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in the presence of Hon. Ministers, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, Dr.K.Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Shri. S.N.A.Jinnah, Chief General Manager, NABARD, Chennai Region and other Govt. and NABARD officials during the NABARD foundation Day function held in Chennai on 26.07.17. We thank NABARD for sanctioning the first of its kind " NABARD Agri Business Incubation Centre" (NABIC) in the country to TNAU.

Shri.S.N.A.Jinnah, Chief Manager, NABARD, Chennai Region, Shri.S.J.Chiru, I.A.S, Commissioner of Agrl.Marketing and Agribusiness, Govt. of Tamil Nadu along with Dr.K.Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU visited the ABD Incubatees pavilion sponsored by NABARD (stall nos.60,61,62,67,68,69 in Codissia hall -D). Thirty start ups companies of TBI-TNAU were given space to showcase their products and technologies in the pavilion. Thanks to CGM, NABARD, Chennai Region for the support.
TBI,TNAU was alloted Stall No.37 in Codissia hall D, Agri Intex 2017 held between 14th and 17th July, 2017.The activities of TBI was showcased in along with few incubatee products.
